LOVE vs. JUDGMENT
By Trance Medium Rev. Cynthia Williams

"I choose not to judge, I choose to switch to love." The mere fact that you judge something to be beautiful means that you create, by that very thought, its opposite. You cannot judge something good unless you have something bad against which you compare it. What would happen if instead of judging things we chose to just love? What would happen to duality then?

Jesus said "judge not, least ye be judged." Jesus knew this law about balance and that is why you find these teachings in the scriptures. How many of us have really understood the meaning of this teaching?

Dr. Peebles also teaches a great deal on this subject. He says it a little differently but still the same meaning. His three golden principles by which to live your life are as follows:

  1. Loving allowance for all things to be in their own time and place, beginning with yourself! (if you love yourself then you won't be so quick to move into judgement.
  2. Open communication with all of life, for it is through open communications and respect you gain some of your greatest understandings about life. (when you ask another for clarification instead of assuming you know what was meant, you move out of judgment and into maintaining a heart connection, instead.)
  3. You are always the creator and never the victim, for it is through your own choices and perspectives that you create your own reality. Learn this and you will never feel like the victim again. (when you take ownership of everything that happens in your life as your creation, you quit blaming others and move out of judging.) These three statements take us back to love and non-judgment. Everything that happens in our lives, everything we witness, is orchestrated by us (our higher self) for growth. When you can understand these principles it helps us welcome all of our experiences as vehicles for growth. It is my hope that as we pass through our growth opportunities in our lives, we can remember, "I choose not to judge; instead I will switch to love."

Exercise:

See yourself in a world where there is no love. See the world with only people pointing their fingers and judging one another and no one wants to take responsibility for their actions. Only see this picture for 14 seconds, no longer. When done say these words, "Cancel, Cancel", out loud! This stops the picture from creating. Holding a vision for 17 seconds or more brings it into creation. Now, do the same exercise by using the words, "I choose not to judge; instead I choose to switch to love." See these words being put into action by everyone you meet. Feel the energy of the people change as they stop themselves from judging another and instead choose to extend love into the situation. Imagine people with greater understanding of themselves as the creator. Can you feel the world change? Then all we need to do is remember it all starts with us!
